Gigadevice Semiconductor A Chinese brand of MCU and memory chip manufacturers, reported revenue of approximately RMB 9.203 billion in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 25.12%, exceeding RMB 9 billion for the first time, according to its 2025 annual report. Net profit attributable to shareholders was approximately RMB 1.648 billion, a significant year-on-year increase of 49.47%, with steadily increasing market share both domestically and internationally.

Niche DRAM: Supply Shortage. With major overseas manufacturers such as Samsung and Micron accelerating their withdrawal from niche DRAM markets (such as DDR4), Gigadevice's sales have increased rapidly. New products such as DDR4 8Gb have achieved significant success in customer adoption in TV and industrial sectors, becoming an important component of this business's revenue.

SLC NAND Flash: With major overseas manufacturers reducing 2D NAND capacity, a supply gap has emerged in the industry. Gigadevice's SLC NAND Flash sales also saw a significant increase in the second half of 2025.

NOR Flash: The price increase trend has gradually spread from large-capacity products to small- and medium-capacity products. The company expects NOR Flash prices to maintain a moderate overall upward trend throughout 2026.

Because AI servers require several times, even ten times, the storage capacity and bandwidth of traditional servers, downstream CSPs (cloud service providers) are locking in capacity by signing long-term supply agreements (LTAs) of 2-3 years or even longer. This will significantly weaken the cyclical fluctuations of the traditional storage market. Most institutions predict that this round of storage price increases will continue at least until the second half of 2027. This is a very favorable external environment for GigaDevice, which is in this market.
